Happy Easter

We had a great Easter!! The boys prepared blessed and passed

the sacrament, then Skees parents came to our house 

for a yummy easter breakfast and they each did their

part to give them the sacrament as well.

The spirit was so strong, I am so thankful I have worthy

sons to help minister the sacrament to their grandparents.

Then we found baskets and got candy!!

Easter (Christ centered Week)

On the Easter Celebration this year, we did it a little

diffrent. I decided that we needed a more Christ centered

Easter. So I got this nativity of the Easter week

and we did an activity each day to help feel closer

to the Savior.

 Day 1 we learned about Lazarus

John 11-1-45

He reminds us that hope can bring forth

out of dark places.

Day 2 was the people of Jerusalem

Found ways to Celebrate Christ

Matt 21:6-10

Palm leaves ( or branches)

Day 3 was Simon

He had a compassionate detour and carried the

cross for the Lord

Mark 15:21

(bracelets to remind us to be kind)

Day 4 we learned of Jospeh and Nicodemus

when they scarified their finest things

John 19:38-41

We wrote our testimonies and put them in

Easter eggs and hung them

Day 5 was Mary and how

she is the FIRST witness of Christ

John 20:11-18

I had our grandmothers write their testimonies

Day 6 We learn of the Disciples on the road

and they abide with christ.

Luke 24:13-31

We wrote our favorite scripture for the year

 Day 7 was Thomas and how he believed

and we can choose to believe too.

John 20:24-29

Christ was Resurrected and the tomb was empty

we made resurrection rolls 

What an amazing week where the spirit was around us all

week long. I definitely felt the true meaning of Easter and

I hope my kids did too.

I know that he lives and he is here to help us when we need him.

I love our Savior and am grateful for Him and all he went thru

for me and my family.

After our FHE dinner Sunday we colored

Easter eggs with the family.

So much fun! Love these guys!

Dance Competition #1

Berklie had her first Solo and Team Dance

Competition at Herriman High School.

Berklies dance song is Whistle and it is

adorable. She nailed her round off back hand

spring Back tuck!!

She went against her friend Kylie which was fun,

Berk got 3rd which is awesome and now she has

room for improvement.

 Her ALLS team competed also and did amazing

they got High Gold in their jazz routine

and Best Costume Best Technique and OVERALL

judges choice for their Lyrical

Priesthood session/Conference

This was Easton's first Priesthood session,

so he was excited to go with his brothers,

cousins grandpa and dad.

They met the guys out for dinner and then

conference in Kaysville.

Berklie and I met the ladies for dinner too.

 Conference breakfast was delicious, with yummy

warm cinnamon rolls to enjoy while

listening to the Prophet.

Berklie and I got the opportunity to go to

the Conference Center to watch the 2nd Sunday

Session. The spirit was so strong when the Apostles

and Prophet came into the room. The talks

were amazing and the weather was great.

What an amazing weekend.

Just what I needed to be refreshed.
