Rivalry Week

We decided to get Skee a present a little early
this year. It is to help with the Rivalry Week!
GO UTES
I got talked into going to watch the guys play their
annual UTAH BYU flag football game.
Full light, 2 rivalry teams, air horns and freezing football
weather...what more could a guy want!!
Oh yeah for their kids to come cheer them on
GO DADDY!!
It was really cold, but we were bundled up pretty
good. The kids lasted about an hour and a half
before we went home for Hot Chocolate.
GO UTES!

Elfie

We were given this fun book and it is our fun new
Christmas Tradition.
The kids couldn't wait to read it and invite the Elf back
to our house.
Every night the Elf goes back to visit with Santa
then he flies back and lands in a new spot. The kids have a blast
finding him every morning. And it has been helping with
their "christmas additudes"
If you look closely I'm sure you'll all find an
elf in your house!!

Happy Thanksgiving

What a GREAT turkey day!! We went to my parent house
for the big dinner. The food was awesome
and so was the company.
We missed Brett, Stef and their families, but will get
to be with them for Christmas.
The grandkids waiting for dinner to start!
Cheese!! She loves potatoes!!
After dinner I let some of the kids go wild with the camera
Stockton and I posing.
Gpa and the kids watching March of the Wooden Soldier.
Kristi had a accident with the Lincoln Logs....
Smile....or NOT!!
Hope everone had a GREAT Thanksgiving.
We have so much to be thankful for...family, friends
house, cars, jobs, free country, religion and life
just to name a few.

He has had a blast.
He wolk up at 7 Sunday morning ready to go
take her for a walk.
Peyton told Skee on one of their walks...I can't
wait for Berklie to get older so we can get a dog.
Good thing we have an awesome park across the street!!
The boyz are happy to see Libby as long as she doesn't
jump up or lick them.

Snow Dayz

We like lazy saturdays at our house. There is always
football being watched and played in the basement so...
when it snowed we were excited to go out and play.
Cheese
Skee has been sick since we got home from our trip,
but he managed to come watch the kids play.
Snow angels by Stockton
It took Berklie a minute to get figure out what to do in
the snow, but after getting knocked down and snow balls
thrown at her she figured it out!!
My cute little snow buddies.

We are Thankful For...

It has been early out all week, due to SEP conferences...
so we decided to do a project.
Some things we are thankful for...
Berklie and her cute little hands.
Easton and his own tracing.
Stockton's handwritting is getting very good. He loves
to write words and spell them out loud.
and Peyton sat forever trying to think of the perfect things.
He is a very thoughful boy.
If you are reading this...we are thankful for you!!

Puerto Rico

Skee and I went on our 1st EVER vacation without the kids...I know,
I know we should have done it years ago, but we didn't.
Thru Skees work we were invited to go on an all expense paid
vacation to Puerto Rico!!
We stayed at the Wyndham hotel. A beautifully landscaped hotel
right next to the beach where we sat by the ocean
ate and partied with 89 couples from Utah.
Oh the beach was amazing, warm and clear...what more could you ask for.
Skee wasn't ready to take off the shirt. He waited till the
last day to get any sun...Not me bring it on!!
Just being us.
We had a blast boogie boarding. Small waves, sand dollars that turned
your feet yellow and the sun. My kind of vacation.
We had such a great time. It was fun being together.
Now if we could only afford to take the whole family there...

Bioluminecense

We were able to sign up for some tours while we
were in Puerto Rico so the 1st one was the kayak to the Bioluminecense.
It was unreal. I was scared to death, but once I learned
that Puerto Rico doesn't have snakes or sharks or
anything that could get me while kayaking in the water I was ok.
Still a little scared.
There has to be 3 things for the Bio to work.
It has to be dark...the darker the better, you have to go thru
a mangrove forest...and it has to be shallow.
The deepest area was around 5 feet so it wasn't the falling in
I was nervous about it was something falling on me...
Me and our tour guide.
I was scared. It was dark and very quiet, the only way
for us to see was a little glow stick hooked to the front and
back of the kayak. We went in a straight line and if anything hit you
you would yell to the people beind you...LOW BRANCH.
Once we made our way thru the mangrove forest we were
there. You can't capture it on cameras because of the flash, but it
was crazy. The fish were glowing as they swam around you.
I am so thankful Skee is confident in kayaking. He did an
awesome job in keeping us away from the edge and getting hit
by any low branches.
This is what we went thru. I am really glad it was dark, because
I don't think I would have done it. Looking at this picture freaks me out.
It was such an neat experience.
Something you have to do at least once.
The water would bead off your arms and legs in a blue light.
Well worth the sore arms the next morning from holding onto
the ore so tight!!

ATV tour

Another tour we went on was an ATV tour
thru the rainforest. Spectacular I might add.
The land was beautiful unlike anything we have ever seen.
Heading off to find mud puddles. The tour guide said
the iguana is one reason the rainforest is becoming extinct,
so if we were to see an iguana...NOT to slow down to hit
it and keep on moving. A little disturbing because he wasn't kidding.
Yes we are HOT!!
Getting daring and wondering to the edge to look around.
We stopped at a river to swim. Man when they say rain forest
they sure mean it. It would be sunny and no clouds one
second and a down pour the next.
Skee was the only daring one to actually swim.
The rest of us watched and told him what to try.
He tried to pull me in, but I think he knew better!!
Jumping off rocks!! The tour guides told him exactly where to
land. The water went from 3 feet in one area to 10.
Glad he judged it right!!
All soaked after the tour. What a great day!!

Our day to Xplore

We wolk up to a Beautiful sunny day and decided to
go explore the beach and everything around it.
I didn't want to climb in the tree area so he took
a picture thru the trees.
The water was like a warm bath.
Trying to find sea shells. We didn't have too great of luck
but we did find a million sand dollars.
We rented a kayak and thought we would see where it took us.
It took us pretty far. The water was so nice and clear, the trees were
so green it was beautiful.
Mister kayak himself. Skee is amazing I never have to
worry about being dumped out. After exploring a never
ending river we spotted an island just out from our hotel.
WHY NOT!!
This is how far away the hotel is from OUR island.
Clear blueish green water.
The weather was awesome. Hardly any big waves to
kayak thru. We made it there in about 20 minutes.
Getting ready to leave out secluded island.
There really was nothing to this island, but it sure was
fun to paddle out and swim around.
