Salt Lake Temple

After church we decided to head down the Salt Lake
to see the beautiful Temple.
We first went to the Conference Center.
It is so beautiful from the top.
The pictures behind the kids are etched into the granite.
My boys were so excited they could see the
Energy Solutions Arena. Go Jazz.
The gang, thanks all for coming with us.

Berklie loved all the pretty flowers. She wanted to take home
one of each. She is such a girl.

I am so happy to be sealed to this cute family!!
I had never seen the Aaronic Priesthood statues
they are pretty cool.

What a fun day we had, the kids were very well behaved
and had fun following the water fountains and
posing for pictures!
I also want to tell Skee how proud of him I am....
he put himself in a Biggest Loser Competition and thru
lots of bike riding, running and skipping out on snacks
came in 3rd place winning $150 and losing 26lbs!
Good job Skee you look awesome!!

Kangaroo Zoo

Saturday was our good friend Austins Birthday so
to celebrate we went to Kangaroo Zoo.
As always the kids had a blast.

Oakley and Berklie
Austin and Easton.
Happy Birthday buddy.
After all the bouncing around Skee decided that
he just couldn't wait anymore for football, so he
gathered a bunch of friends together and had his first Flag
football game, the weather was perfect.
I have to admit I am ready for all the football games
we will be attending. Nothing better than friends, food and football...right??

Bountiful Gremlins

Peytons dream has come true, he has been waiting
to play football for 8 years. We couldn't
talk him out of it and I'm glad we didn't. He loves it.
The first week of "tryouts" were crazy there were approx
80 kids ages 8 and 9. They were split into 4 groups
8 and under 70lbs, 8 and over 70lbs
9 and under 70lbs and 9 and over 70lbs.
They worked there butts off in the heat for 2 hours for 4 nights.
After all is said and done the 4 coaches do a draft and pick
the kids they want.
Peyton was drafted to the Black Gremlins team.
Before school they practiced 5 nights a week. Now that school
is here they only get 3 days and games every Saturday.
It is A LOT of commitment, but like I said Peyton LOVES it.
Practicing his tackling skills
#42 waiting to tackle
Getting tackled
Nice form kids (Peyton is the black glove)
Running and more running.
We are really happy with the team we are on.
Here is to Lots more games and practices.

School Begins

I bet I am the ONLY mom in the world that was
excited for her kids to go back to school.....not because
I don't LOVE my kids, or that I need my space, but
I want my kids to like each other again.
There has been so much fighting and they can't
get along. It makes me sad, but I know that as they are
away from each other all day they will hopefully be nice to one
another once the routine is again set into place.
My HANDSOME little boys.
Peyton is a 3rd Grader
Stockton is a 1st Grader
Our FUN walking crew.
Stockton and McKenlie, they lucked out and got in
the same class this year. Mrs. Wilcox.
This year Peyton didn't fight us or say how much he hated
school, so we had a much happier morning, but he
has hit that stage in life where he is TOO COOL for his mom
to take pictures or walk him to school.
So starts a great year at Foxboro Elementary.

Weekend

I decided we needed to have 1 last adult weekend before
school and ALL the sports started for our kids.
I was surprised with Lion King tickets for Friday night.
It was Awesome!!
We went to PF Changs (YUM YUM)
and then off to our getaway....Comfort Inn. (hey it's better
than staying home right!!!)

Saturday Kristy and I did some crafting while the guys
golfed 36 holes (thats right in 1 day they golfed that much)
After LOTS of shopping and the guys finally came back,
a bunch of us went to dinner at Cafe Rio and went to the movie
Eat Pray Love (a very long movie)
Sunday (Skees Birthday) we spent the morning
miniature golfing and go cart riding until it was
time to get our kids. (thanks Munks and Mom and Dad for
taking such good care of my kiddos)
Football season has officially started with Skee and all
his Fantacy Drafts, so off he went while the kids and I
decorated for the birthday boy!
That's right 31

The kids hid and as Skee came up the stairs they
jumped out screaming, I love how excited they get over birthdays.
We love you Daddy, we hope you had a good
day. You are the BEST dad and Husband any family
could ask for.

Discovery Gateway

We along with all of SLC went to the Discovery Gateway,
I didn't know but it was FREE day so we didn't last
as long as I had hoped.
But they had fun!

Berklie and Easton sat in the helicopter forever
everytime they heard the engine they would sit back down
like it was really taking off.

Another activity down and lots more to cram
into our week before school starts.
