Lady Eagles.....BJH Basketball

Our little Cheerleader decided to try out for the girls Basketball
team and MADE IT!!! She is so talented and awesome.
We have loved watching her play ball.
She is doing amazing and having so much fun with her
friends. Way to go BJH Lady Eagles
She did jam her finger pretty bad, but is recovering over
the 5 day holiday (Martin Luther King Day)
and will be ready to play Wednesday.
Lady Eagles played awesome and had a lot of fun.
The first play off game Berklie was able to cheer
while her team WON the game and advanced onto the
second playoff game. Sadly they lost, but had such a great time
bonding as a team and having a great time. I know we had to talk
Berklie into trying out, but she has loved playing so much. Proud of her
for trying something new.

Elder Fox returns home/Happy Birthday Peyton!!

December has been an emotion, faith building month
for many reasons.
Elder Fox has been struggling on his mission and has
done a lot of praying and has decided that returning home
is what he needs to do. He sits in his apartment all day on
Facebook and is struggling with some anxiety and I know
depression, and as parents we know that he needs to come home.
It was a hard decision, but we feel very blessed to have an
amazing Stake President that has been such a support
to our family. Elder Foxs mission president is a very nice man
and has a lot of his plate, and we are thankful for all he has done
for Peyton. He returned home on his 19th BIRTHDAY,
welcome to adulthood!!
Our ward members and friends have also been so amazing
and have engulfed Peyton in their hugs (virtual) and love and support.
I know he needs it and am thankful we have amazing ward members
and friends and family.
A midst Peyton coming home Stockton got COVID :(( so
he was in quarantine when Peyt got home.
So 10 days of quarantine meant no family for
Christmas to grandparents, no parties just us. Which was awesome.
We needed our little family to be together and it was so nice.
Happy 19th Birthday Peyton we love you so much
and are so proud of you and all you do!!

4 down 20 to go!!

4 months down and 20 to go!
Our missionary is such an amazing example of working hard and
not being afraid, Elder Fox is awesome.
We are so proud of him and can't wait to see where his next
transfers brings him. I know he is going where he needs to be
and can't wait to read his letters.
The kids at home are doing awesome considering covid is still here
and doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon.
Boys bball is the highlight with 9 wins 1 loss and playoffs are beginning
Berklie is trying out for girls Bball
Stockton is working and a manager of the VHS bball team
Dad is getting a new show room and mom
is just cleaning up after everyone!!
Here is to another month!!

Elder Fox Baptism

Elder Fox and Dearden had a baptism today,
the spirit was so strong and we were able to watch via zoom!!
Elder Dearden baptized and the Elder Fox confirmed her.
What an amazing experience as a parent to watch a baptism of
a missionary. We have witnessed a lot of 8 year old baptisms, but convert
baptisms are amazingly spiritual and you can feel the love of our Savior.
I am so proud of Elder Fox for all his hard work and willingness
to do hard things.

Festival of Lights

We went out to the Vanhille to have hot chocolate, treats
and talk about Lisa (on Lisa Day Dec 7th) then we went thru the Spanish Fork
Festival of Lights. So much fun seeing the lights with family and
enjoying the holidays together.

Decorations

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....
I love decorating for the Holidays and this year we got
a REAL tree for the basement, it smells so good.
We used our homemade decorations for this tree and
I love it!!
Our favorite Missionaries stocking made it debut
There is Christmas in the air!!

Coastal Carolina vs BYU

Coastal Carolina (our new favorite team) played BYU
so we had to open our Christmas presents early.
Such a fun game to watch.
Elder Fox and his comp Elder Dearden walked around
ESPN Game Day and then GOT TICKETS from a
BYU fan, needless to say they had a blast watching the game.
CC is a 10 min drive from their house.
They drove by the trucks yesterday and then ran into
Brandon Wood from our Stake for a picture.
Such an awesome experience for Elder Fox.
