Christmas Eve Eve

I love my little family so much, so I decided

instead of hustling thru Christmas Eve and having

very little time to spend with JUST my family, I decided

to do a Christmas Eve Eve.

We made personalized pizzas and played the 

marble game while they cooked.

Next we got all dressed up to re-inact the Nativity.

Berklie was of course Mary with Easton as 

her husband Joseph, she rode her donkey to the 

stable where she laid her baby in the manger.

Then the shephard came with his sheep followed by the

wiseman bearing gifts.

 After we told the story and they acted it out perfectly,

we too gave them gifts.....PJ'S!!

Berklie was so excited to have a doll with matching

pajamas. The boys loved their pjs as well.

Earlier we had drawn names for a secret gift exchange,

it truly was so hard for them to keep it a secret, 

but they did o.k. They had fun opening the gifts from each other.

Afterwards we watched The Christmas Story (which they 

had never seen) laughed and enjoyed being together.

We will definitely be making this a tradition!!
