Old San Juan

On Sunday we went to Old San Juan to
have a fun dinning experience and had some time
to explore and shop.
Not my favorite city, but fun to say the least.
We went to the old Fort in the center of the city.
It was built in WWII and was amazing.
The view of the ocean from the top of the fort.
Looking thru their secret spying quarters. To see if any
ships are heading their direction.
Another way to spy for boats.
Skee and some cannons.
Me waiting and resting my legs. I didn't realize
that Skee was so into the historical stuff, he was interested
for hours. It was a very amazing building. They had a dungeon
and it truly was a humid, hot death trap.
By one of the doors to enter the fort.
Our entertainment at our restauraunt
Barrachinas. The food was Excellent. So yummy.
Skee even tried something neither of us had ever heard of
and he really liked it. Our waiter was hillarious.
My favorite was the reaction we got when you asked for
anything Virgin...they would say "just a tiny"
NO VIRGIN PLEASE.
Enjoying our VIRGIN Pina Coladas

Hurrican Ida

After having 2 perfect sunny days a Hurricane
decides to hit around the Gulf of Mexico and we got
hit with some heavy winds and waves.
Our Beautiful beach they would grate it every morning.
Skee catching some waves. He soon got bored and became
the underwater photographer for everyone else.
Me after almost drowning.
Skees buddy Ryan catching some nice waves on
the boogie board.
Yeah this is what I almost drowned in!!
After a day of wave jumping and drinking lots
of sea water, we headed with the group to a Gigantic
house in the rain forest for a Farewell Dinner.
It was amazing there were no walls just ceilings so they
could enjoy the rain forest all day everyday.

My new favorite color is Green

These are the first thing we saw when coming out of the hotel.
Gross. Skee was determined to get up close
and feed one, but I was too chicken to get that close
to get a picture. So this will have to do.
I didn't realize they could climb, until one fell out
of a palm tree and into the pool.
This is a big sucker.
The beautful scenery from our hotel.
Skee and the awesome palm trees, they are my favorite.
I really wanted to bring one home, but something about
a plane ride and our weather...
These were the prettiest flowers.
Out of the hotel looking straight onto the beach.
I could live here!!
Our hotel in the backgroud, we stayed on the 1st floor
below us was a pond with fish, turtles and of course iguanas.

Wrapping up...

Hitting the waves on the last day.
The waves weren't as big as yesterday, but
the undertoe had more force so it wore us
out faster.
Catching my last rays. Oh the sun felt so good.
Finishing off in the swimming pool when we had
a friend join us.
This creepy iguana would jump in and
swim so fast to the other side. I am not a fan
of snakes so this thing kind of freaked me out!!
Then after a 4 1/2 hour flight to Houston then a
3 hr flight to Salt Lake we made it home save and sound and
back to my kids that I missed so much!!
Berklie and her cute Puerto Rico dress.
She is so happy to see us although she got pretty
spoiled from her Aunt Lara.
The boys in the Puerto Rico hats and shirts.
Thanks again to all that helped out with my kids.
We couldn't have gone on vacation without ya!!

Water Camera

Right before Skee and I left for Puerto Rico
we bought a Cannon PowerShot D10.
I LOVE this camera.
We just had to try it out before we left!!
Stockton under water.
The boyz had a lot of fun making sure the camera
worked to it's full potential.

Happy Birthday Mom

It was my Mom's 60th Birthday on
November 4th. We threw her a
princess/spongebob party.
The cute little princesses and Easton
The gang helping blowout the candles
Happy Birthday Mom we love you!!

School T-Shirts

Peyton and Stockton got their Foxboro Elementary
School shirts and they turned out so cute.
It is always fun to see what the kids think they look like.
Mrs. Well AM Kindergarten class
I was a little suprised he didn't put himself
in glasses, but he said he is just so used to wearing them he forgot.
Mrs. Harwood 2nd grade class

This is what happens...

This is what happens when you are in a car for 7 hours
and Peyton gets a hold of the camera...

Oh man he is such a nerd....but I love him to death.
The kids being very patient while Skee listened to the
Utah game on the drive home from California.
Oh and 1 picture of the scenery...the real reason he wanted
the camera...to capture the beautiful mountains (he said)

hAllOwEeN

What a different Halloween we had.
We thought we would have to talk our kids into
missing Trick-o-Treating to go to the Utes
Football game, but NOPE they were all excited to go.
All the kids dressed up ready to Trick-o-Treat with
the Utes sports teams. Each team had a booth. They gave
candy and posters. It was fun, A LOT of waiting, but
hopefully they will learn next time just how many kids
WILL support their UTES.
The kids, Skee and his FAVORITE motivational speaker
Coach Boylen
Peyton throwing the football into the tire. Made it both times.
They said it's because he is named after Peyton Manning.
Stockton made both his too....hmmmm John would be proud!!
And...Easton made his too. Good job BUZZ!!
The UTES Basketball Team.
Man they are TALL!!
Peyton being a supportive UTAH fan!!
Skee being Nacho Libre I bet you all wish you
could have witnessed that!!
Cute kids watching the game.
The weather was perfect for Oct 31.
Kit Kat anyone??
This is how Berklie watches the game!! She loves her daddy!
Happy Halloween!!
