Mothers Day

I love Mother's Day, I only wish it was on a Saturday...
I really wanted breakfast in bed, but it was fast
Sunday so I settled for sleeping in till 8 and
scrambling, without yelling to get the kids ready for church.
It was an all around good day, I LOVE my kids.
I can't believe how fast they are growing. I remember
2 yrs ago we blessed Berklie on Mother's Day.
After church we came home the kids gave
me all the wonderful things they made...They were
each so proud that they were able to keep
their gift a secret.
We headed to the Bhams, where I made a video
of the past year, I have to admit it was a tear jerker,
but it was fun to see all the kids laughing and remembering
the fun things we have done as a family.
I LOVE these woman (Kimber isn't here but I love her too)
They are such great examples to me. I know that we
may not always see eye to eye, but that
is why it works so well. Each of us have our own
personality. Thanks for being such Awesome sisters.
We played outside and chatted, then headed to the Fox's
I LOVE these sisters TOO.
I'm glad I can say they are my sisters, we fight.
laugh, cry and make up.
My mother in law made this table just for us, we
were waited on and got to sit and enjoy dinner
with no interruptions from the kids.
After dinner Skee took a bunch of the kids
on a hike.

What a GREAT day.
Not even that I got presents and showered with love,
but just that my kids are starting to appreciate
the little things I do and that they can acknowledge
it on their own.
Motherhood is the hardest, yet most rewarding
thing I have ever done and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I totally agree! It really makes you appreciate your own mother more doesn't it! As I go through all these new seasons and changes in my life, I keep thinking my Mom made it through these times and I always wish she was here, so I could call her and ask for advise, or just let her cheer me on-she really was my greatest cheerleader, always telling I could do anything-even though I didn't have that much confidence in myself, but she always did and her faith and love helped me do those hard things that I didn't realize I really could do!!! It is the hardest and yet best job in the whole wide world! Wait until you drop your boys off at the MTC-it is the BEST and the WORST day all rolled into one. I think that is the best way to describe being a Mom!!! Love you and I am so proud of what a truly amazing Mom you are Ang! Love, Auntie Deb
