Fire of Death...

We had been asked to go camping, but due
to baseball, soccer and work we weren't able
to go...so we thought we would bring camping to us!!
We dusted off the camping gear and got out the fire pit.
It might seem all nice and under control, but Skee couldn't
get the fire to "his" height so he did what any guy (not scout)
guy would do
He filled up a bottle with GAS and threw it on the fire.
Well not only did the bottle, the fire pit and the driveway catch
on fire, but my husband almost did too.
He started stomping out the fire and then slipped on the gas,
he still had the burning bottle in his hand....meanwhile Todd
was rolling around on the grass in tears of laughter.
After Skee got it all under control kids were screaming,
I was trying to pull back seats and Todd is still
laughing!!!
Ok so this was a HILARIOUS event and one that
we will talk about for years to come, but
I do have to commend Skee for not throwing the burning bottle
I know I would have!!
Stockton and Easton enjoying the fire.
Berklie and Dyson
Todd showing his expertise on fire building,
too bad the wood is damp! (that is what gas is for)
The best part of the evening was when Chad came over
and told Skee "your supposed to put the gas on THEN
the match....." DUH
Peyton and Kylie once the fire is all good.
NOTICE the gas can.......

Samaria 21

One of our new St. George traditions is to
eat at Samari 21.
The kids talk about it all the time,
so off to dinner we went.
The chef is the funniest guy ever. Stockton and him
were making faces at each other and he was singing as
he cooked. It was pretty funny.
Berklie wasn't a fan, but once the fire was gone
she sat and ate.
The kids favorite part is the volcano he makes
with onions.

Swimming, swimming and more swimming

Water is one of the funnest parts of St. George,
they love to swim and could do it all day.
It was fun to have the different families there for them
to swim with.
Skee had fun dunking, squirting and playing keep away with
Madison Tierney and Brighton.
Peyton underwater
Some of the ladies hanging out in the sun.
Easton doing a front flip he loves the water.
Easton and Ellie
On Monday it rained like crazy (it was snowing at home
so it was ok) so we decided to go to the movie.
How to train your dragon in 3d.
It was the cutest show. The boys didn't move and Berklie
fell asleep half way thru.
My parents came to St. George and stayed at the Holiday Inn
After the movie we swam at their indoor pool.
We had a great trip. Thanks dad for working in St. George
so we could enjoy the sun!!

Red Rocks

The kids always love to hike on the Red rocks.
We spent about 4 hours on the rocks.
The wind was really cold, but that didn't stop them.
Berklie was a trooper, she wouldn't let us hold
her she thinks she is so big and wanted to walk and jump
off everything.
I love these people.
The kids found Toothless's cave and the kids
were so excited...too bad he was out flying around.
(if you haven't seen How to train your dragon, I suggest
you do it is Awesome.)
The rocks were falling all over so the boys helped
lift them up. So helpful.
Our favorite view with the Temple in the background.
Easton and his little buddy Ellie. They had such a fun
time together.
All the kids made it to the arch.
A man made cave or something cool.
Berklie held Brosephs leash and she was so proud of
herself. She fell twice, but didn't let go.

St. George Temple

The weather was perfect, well could have
been warmer, but at least we weren't home with
the snow....so we headed to the Temple
for our Easter Pics.

Berklie was a stinker...must be the age.
She would only sit if Skee got to throw
grass at me or pretend to hit me or poke me.
My handsome little boys.

We love the Temple.

Easter Morning

With Easter being over Spring Break, we
took the kids to St. George to get away from
the snow and have some pool time.
The kids were very concerned that the Easter
Bunny wouldn't find them because we weren't at home.
This little girl cracks me up. I heard some noise
in the living room at 430 am so I sat up to find
Berklie walking around eating the Easter candy!!
Stockton was excited that the Easter Bunny
found us and was hoping that there was stuff
left at home as well....sadly there wasn't.
I didn't realize Easton's color of choice is Green.
Each kid got a Zhu zhu Pet and was so excited
to let it roam around. WARNING.....right on the
bottom of the ZHU ZHU pet says "Keep hair away from wheels"
well on our way home, Berklie was playing so nicely with
Chunk...when blood curdling screams came from her car
seat. Oh yes it was sucking her hair into the wheels.
After a LARGE amount of hair was lost she calmed down.
She wanted nothing to do with that darn pet and the
boys were pretty mad it would hurt her.
Our Easter Bunny hides our baskets and the kids
have to find them. Peytons was in the dryer, Stocktons was in
the garbage can (clean of course), Eastons was in the shower
and Berklies was under the kitchen table.
After they are located then its off to find treats.
Berklie finding her BIG eggs
They Bunny even went outside....
After all the eggs and baskets were found we got ready
and went to Golden Corale. (I know naughty huh,
but ya gotta eat right?)
Two of Skees brothers and their
families were in St. George as well so there
were lots of people and stuff to do.

Look at Me!!

I would consider myself an OK sewer,
as long as I have a pattern and my Mom
on speed dial.
My little sister found this pattern and I just fell in love
with it. So she talked me thru it on the phone....
and I am so proud of myself.
My model is taking a nap so I will post pics
of Berklie in them later, but I had to post them.

Thanks to Martha...I made matching flowers as well!!
I made this one for the zoo.
After the zebra and giraffe returning
to heaven, I thought
I'd make a remembrance skirt!!
And it's my FAVORITE!!
I love having a girl!!

FHE

I love Holidays.
We decided to dye Easter eggs with some
neighbors. They kids had a blast.
Next time we have to make sure there is no Jazz
game. It might look like the men are helping, but
they really watched the game, but we do love them!!
The best was trying to get Dyson and Berklie to color
their eggs with crayon first. They didn't quite get it.
Usually we make the kids take off their shirts,
but since there were "girls" here they didn't and there
were no casualties.
Cute kiddos
I love that these kids play so well together.
It's always fun to hang out.
So Berklie thinks she is TOO old for naps, and it's
driving me crazy. She just turned 2.
But this is always what happens, she climbs up on
my bed on Daddys pillow and tucks her baby in, wants
to watch cartoon and eventually falls asleep.

Preschool at the Firestation

Easton and his cute little preschool class
went the Fire station.
They watched a movie that really needed
to be update, so they had a hard time sitting thru
it, then they got the tour.
Cute little class and Stockton,
Berklie, Stockton and I helped with the field trip.
I had my crappy camera so sorry pics aren't the best.
Austin and Easton being fire man!
Stockton got lucky, the fire man asked if anyone
had a birthday in the month of March and
Stockton raised his hand and got to try on
all the cloths.
He looked like a snowman....
What a fun trip they all learned about fire safety
and calling 911. Luckily Easton thought it was 411 because
when he got home from school he picked up the phone
and dialed....gotta love it.

Peyton's Baptism

March 27th 2010 Peyton Fox became the newest
member of the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter Day Saints.
We are so proud of the choice he has made.
Peyton has a cousin, who he looks up to so much.
As we were discussing the Baptism arrangements we
had a really strong feeling that Chaz should
be the one to Baptize Peyton.
Chaz has recently received his mission call and has
been on our minds a lot. As we were asking Peyton
his input, he immediately said, Can Chaz Baptize me?
Obviously the Spirit is with Peyton and therefore
Chaz Emery Baptized Peyton.
The program went very well, Tiernie sang, Harley sang
both Grandpas bore their testimonies and of
course I cried when I had to introduce Peyton.
My kids asked me why I cried, was I mad? I had to reassure
them that it was a Happy cry and that the Holy
Ghost was there.
We love you Peyton
The kids are so proud of Peyton and came running
down the church hall to greet him.
Our wonderful Nana we love her so much.
Our handsome little family
Brashton, Peyton and Hayden (happy birthday)
Peyton loves these fellas.
Madison, Peyton and Brinna
I love these Handsome Men!!
Ok so here is my grass. I am so excited it turned out so
cute. Now this picture doesn't do it justice, but each table
had a jersey and a McFarlane statue
with sport Easter eggs, just like Peyton wanted.
Some of the clan
Thanks for all the support.
The cute little kiddies table
Gpa and Gma Fox and Peyton
Thanks for all that you do for us. They lent
us their house and her time.
Gpa and Gma Burningham
Thank you for helping with my children
and making stuff and being there.
I love you all.
I can't believe that Peyton is 8 yrs old. I love you
so much and you are such a great example to all of us.
I hope that you remember this day Forever!!
