Memorial Weekend

We love long weekends at our house.
Dad is home and there is NO SCHOOL.
We went on bike rides on the Legacy trail and found
a park to play on.
We went to my parents house and had a BBQ.
We had awesome food (steak and chicken)
The home made slide (it's a table and the kids love
surfing down it.)
silly kids
Sidewalk chalk on grandpas wall
YUM
YUM YUM
And swimming in the hot tub.
Cute little cheeser
Love these kids.
My birthday was on the 29th and it was a great day
I hung with my family, went to lunch at Firehouse Pizza
went shopping and then the kids and guys went
to the Bees game and Me and my peeps went
to Cafe Rio and got pedicures!!
All the May/April birthdays (leighton is
standing in for Reese who is in Arizona)
What a good and long weekend, I can't believe that school
is almost over. I am excited that we don't have to wake
up early, but really hoping the kids are nice to each other.

Wheeler Farm

I was able to go with Stockton and his Kindergarten
class to Wheeler Farm today.
It was a perfect day, overcast and warm.
We got to take the bus. The kids were hillarious
it was so fun to see their personality come out.
We saw cows...
and brand new baby piggies...
we got to pet the goats...
Mrs. Wells AM class.
We went on a tractor ride around the farm
I Love the boys
After the tractor ride they got to feed the ducks
Eating fishy crackers and capri suns waiting for the bus.
We have really LOVED Mrs. Wells she is so organized and
on top of everything.
Well, another field trip just means that school
is ALMOST out!!

Poison Oak

OK so Skee is probably going to KILL me that I
am posting this!!!
On Thursday he started with a really itchy rash on his leg
above his knee. He just thought it was misquito bites
and fell asleep. Friday he was a little more itchy AND
it was spreading. Saturday it had started to really
spread and was looking more like well GROSS!
Sunday we had my Gmas 90th Bday party and by that day it was
oozing down his leg and seemed to be really infected.
So the nice family I have made him feel like he might loose his leg
and got him to run into Insta-care.
He walks in the room the Dr takes one look at it and says
Poison Oak. Gives him Prednisone and he leaves.
All better you would think.......
Tuesday night this is what it looks like
It is swollen HUGE and he CAN NOT bend his knee.
I called my super sweet cousin Ted and he
called him some more meds and told him to come see him
in the morning. Basically all it is is Poison Oak
with tons of fluid behind it.
Hopefully with time and 12 days of Meds he will
start feeling better!!

This Weather....

This weather has been so crazy, it is
45 degrees one day and then jumps to 75 degrees.
And there has been tons of rain!
Good thing we all have umbrellas.

Field Trip

I got the opportunity to go on Peytons
field trip to the Fire Station.
It was fun we walked to the park, ate lunch,
visited the Fire Station then walked back to school.
Mrs. Harwood got to wear the uniform.
Peytons 2nd grade class.
They pulled the truck out for the kids to see and then
sprayed them all with the huge hose!!

Bountiful Pond

Last Saturday Skee took some of the scouts and
some of their dads to the Bountiful pond for do a
service project. The weather was crappy, but
luckily it didn't rain on them.
The got to fix flower beds.
Good job boys!!
Then after they got to do a little fishing!!
Way to go scouts for making the trail look so pretty again.

Happy 90th Grandma

My Grandma (Bham) Duke is about to turn 90 years old.
We love her so much and are so happy she
is doing so well.
Gma Duke and my birthday are a day apart
and I remember when I turned 21, her and I jumped on
the bus and rode to Wendover for the day....it was so much
fun she is the cutest Gma ever!!
We threw a suprise (well sort of no one can
keep a secret) party for her at her home at the Avalone
nursing home.
She was so happy to see all her family in one
place and all her friends and relatives came as well.
She did great blowing out the candles.
Howard Vicki, (my parents)- Steve Vickie, (Jerry) Kathy
Brenda and Myron.
My cute family-we love you Grandma
My whole family minus Brett and Kimber.
What a fun day.

T Ball

Our poor Easton has watched MANY of his
brothers baseball games thru the years, and
is too young to play for the city, so I took
it upon myself to set up a fun little group
of girls and boys to play each other.
We found enough for 2 teams...the Oakland A's
and the Marlins.
My cute little #12 waiting patiently to bat.
Throwing to 1st
Batter up
Ready to run to 2nd
Playing 1st base.
Go Team Marlins.
Good job kids the weather was a little
cold and windy, but they battled thru it and
had a fun time. It actually think the parents had more
fun watching and cheering on the kiddos.

Golfing Pro

We took advantage of the weather and went to
the golf course to hit a bucket or two
of balls. We ran into Beth and Berklie was
in heaven.
Easton
Peyton
Stockton
Skee trying out one of his new clubs he bought,
after he broke his driver.
Berklie actually figured out how to hit.
Summer please come faster!!

Preschool Graduation

Last night Easton finished his 1st year
at Preschool. He did such a great job.
Getting ready to start standing by his name tag.
If you ever can't find one of my boys this is the famous
Fox stance. Whether they are playing baseball or
standing in front of a crowd they are always
"checking" to make sure they haven't lost something.
He did a GREAT job singing all the songs.
Him and Austin did their part together. Although you
could only hear Austin, Easton did have it memorized.
His teacher called each child up and gave
them a bag with some prizes in it.
Miss Michelle and Easton

Thanks for coming Jensens and Gma B.
After we went and celebrated with ice cream
from Paces, yum yum.
