Thanksgiving Week!

What a week, I feared that it would go slow
and drag with lots of arguing, but it was the opposite!!
We are so Thankful for our families and friends
and were gathered around most of the them this week!!
Both of our parents were out of town for Thanksgiving, so
I decided to make dinner myself!!
I was very nervous, but it turned out Awesome, I was
so proud of myself!!
After we ate and stuffed ourselves to the brim, we went
and saw Tangled!! Cutest movie ever!!!
Then we came home and put up our Christmas tree,
this year I am protecting it and NOT putting it downstairs.
What a great day! We are definitely Thankful for so much!!
On Friday after Skee fought the mobs at Walmart all night......
we went sledding!!!

Berklie insisted on being carried and these 2 cute girls
actually listened!!

What a fun week we have had with each other.
Now onto getting ready for Christmas!!!

We love snow!

We love snow and were so happy to wake up to lots and lots
of white fluffy snow. The kids were dying to get out and
make a snowman.

I love that Berklie just eats the snow instead of playing in it.

We had so much fun making our UTES snowman.

After we finished we had hot chocolate and watched
a movie, it was so fun to be together, I love this time of year!!

Today I feel...

I am so Thankful for my children.
I wouldn't know what to do without them. They are
my favorite people and I know I don't tell them that enough.
I love them so much, even when I yell at them!
I am Thankful for their health and strength and for their
ability to learn and grow. I am Thankful for amazing teachers they
have and for great students they are becoming.
I am Thankful for an amazing husband and father who
always makes us feel like #1.
Today I just feel Thankful!

Stuff

Easton and his super cute preschool class went on a
field trip to Dicks Market.
They were all VIP guests. They got to see the bakery,
the deli, meat dept and the back room.
The kids favorite part was standing behind
the milk in the fridge and as customers would grab their
milk they would
MOOOOOOO really loud. It was hilarious!!

We went to the Midnight showing of Harry Potter!!
Harley was so excited she finally got to come with us and I think
Stef and I embarrassed her!! Oh well he should be used to it by now!!

Early Thanksgiving

I feel like November is passing so quickly, we haven't
had a chance to express all our Thankfullness to everything we are thankful for.
We are so thankful for FAMILY and love them all so much.
Lara and Jack are in town so we decided to have
Thanksgiving dinner a little early so they could be here with us.
I am thankful for a Mother and Father in law that I LOVE.
They are so thoughtful, loving and caring (the list could go on and on)
They had over 60 people over for Thanksgiving dinner
and EVERYONE felt loved.

Peyton won the "guess how many" game.
He guessed exactly right.....1,010 (then come to find out
Sandra didn't really want to count them so she picked a number
and whoever came closest won!!)
We are also thankful for Nana. She is struggling with
being old and moving into her daughters house surrounded
by everyone all the time, yet she is still a great example to us.
We love you Nana.

Kona Hawaii 2010

Skee and I, Troy and Lisa, Scot and Chelsea
and Angi were all able to go on the Midwest trip to
Kona Hawaii. It was so much fun and the area was so beautiful.
Thanks so much to Lara and all that helped with
my kids for the week.

We had to capture the plane ride, it's not everyday
you get to walk off a plane!!

Beach Days

We had many many wonderful relaxing days
by the beach! The weather was amazing in the low 80's
everyday and we didn't get rained on once.
The cove around our resort had sweet snorkeling
with fish and sea turtles.
I got a lot of video footage so you'll have to see
my movie I make, but the pictures are great too.

Kayaking
Angi gave us all glitter toes before we left, and
we had to show them off!!

Waipio Valley

We just love to ask the Locals of fun things to do, and
going to Waipio Valley was one.
We didn't realize just how difficult this would be, until
we were halfway down the mountain and turned around
to look back up.
It is a awesome view and you can walk (or hitchhike as we
were told later) down to a river that we cross and then
make it to the black sand.

Checking out how the cliff just drops off with NO guardrail.

Our favorite sign was
Entering a Tsunami Evacuation Area
We are really happy that we never crossed the river,
we didn't want to die of this disease.
My favorite sign in Hawaii.
